WHERE & HOW TO USE IT

MARBLE FUSIONS® uses slabs of decorative stone to adorn their natural grain with carefully aligned vector ornamentation in color and style of your choice. Unlike in case of traditional inlay techniques, where small pieces of cut stone are put together to create a pattern, MARBLE FUSIONS® keeps the slab of stone in one piece.

This preserves the continuity of grain between the ornamentation, and with our high-tech fillers, secures a jointless surface. As a result you can enjoy the beauty of MARBLE FUSIONS® plates on almost any surface where you would use slabs of pure stone, such as wall coatings, bathrooms and counter tops.

HOW IT’S MADE

MARBLE FUSIONS® uses 21th century’s carving technology to carefully remove material from the surface of the stone in places where ornamentation is desired. The gaps which emerge are manually filled with precisely matching counterpieces of our high-tech mineral composite in both solid and liquid form. These, once hardened, grinded and polished, provide a jointless, non-porous and 100% hygienic surface that is easy to maintain.

The mineral composite material consists of approximately one third acrylic resin (polymethyl methacrylate or PMMA) and 5% natural pigments. Its main constituent, with 70%, is the natural mineral aluminium hydroxide (ATH) obtained from bauxite (aluminium ore).

On demand, even Inlays with mirror finished or gold plated metal plates can be produced.
